PROCEDURES
Admission
of Non-Resident Students
Maine-Endwell
Central School District
1.
Parent(s) or Guardian(s) must
complete the application in its entirety and submit it to the Superintendent
of Schools.
2.
If, in the course of the
academic year, it is determined that the student is not adhering to the code of
conduct of the Maine-Endwell Central School District, the Superintendent may,
in addition to other actions, advise the student and the parent(s) or guardian(s), that his status in
the school district is terminated.
3.
The Superintendent shall notify
the parent(s) or guardian(s), in writing, of their child’s acceptance or
rejection into the District. If the
letter is one of acceptance, the student will be admitted when the tuition has
been paid.
4.
Non-resident students may be
accepted only on an annual basis, upon written application, at the discretion
of the Superintendent and shall be required to pay existing tuition fees
provided:
· No
increase in the size of the faculty or the staff will be necessary to
accommodate them, and
· No
elementary grade level nor section in the secondary school courses affected
will increase to an undesired level.
5.
Tuition charges are to be
prepaid in full prior to the start of the school year, or at one-half of the
full amount prior to the start of the semester and the remainder by December
15th.
6.
The Non-Resident Student
Agreement must be completed before enrollment may begin

I/We, state that the foregoing information is true and correct to the best of my/our
knowledge. I/We understand that any omission, misrepresentation and/or falsification of information contained in this questionnaire may constitute grounds for said student’s request for admission to the Maine-Endwell Central School District be denied.
In consideration of my admission as a non-resident student the following
assurances are given:
- I have read the student Code of Conduct and I am familiar with its
contents; (found on the website or in the student handbook);
- I will comply with the code of conduct, and, if I do not do so, I understand
that my non-resident student status may be revoked by the superintendent
after notification to me of my infraction and an opportunity to be heard;
- My non-resident status may be terminated by the superintendent if the
required tuition is not paid.
